Epidural Anesthesia Does Not Increase Maternal Temperature During Labor Must say, I'm VERY surprised about this one... to the point that I'm not sure I believe it. At least where I work. Fevers during epidural aren't uncommon at our hospital, and they disappear when the epidural does. Baby is concurrently born with it and it goes away right away after birth with no abnormal lab results. (Obviously we occasionally have an actual chorio, but this is different as described). Do any of you see this?
